Swelling in his hand/ arm seems better after removing the wrap that was around the IV. This is a relief as we know it'll be hard to get a new one going.
He's had a few bouts of vomiting, and seems to be experiencing a bit more pain. We've been able to give him bolus doses of morphine with positive results. Lastly, he's having trouble clearing his chest. A lot of junk can build up in there and obviously his abdomen is quite sore.
The nurse brought this funky device to pat him with to try to help break things up.
Post a morphine bolus. Perhaps the most relaxed he's been!
