A pile of random...

These are a collection of pictures from the last few weeks, taken from my cell phone (hence the poor quality).
Selah, at the boys' swim lessons, squishing ants.
Apparently it isn't just a boy thing.

Micah being bashful.

A little annoyed with the paparazzi.

Finally, a smile for his adoring fans.

The boys had a Valentine's Day party with our homeschooling group.
Dad wanted to make sure they had a cool box.  I think he succeeded.
Side view with Valentine slots.
(No, he is not for sale, but he might be for rent for the right price...)

Sweet Noah, always looking out for Selah, taught her how to stack cans into a tower like blocks.
It's her new favorite thing to do.  Lucky me.  Another thing for us to constantly trip over.

Trying to figure out why the applesauce fell off-it's hard to see but it's behind the stack.

Enjoying an orange at Pei Wei.

Possibly the couch that will be in our living room in the new house.

Selah, holding her bathing suit, begging for a trip back to Great Wolf Lodge.  Too bad I'm not Daddy, he probably would have packed up the car right then.

Micah, giving us a little attitude,sticking out his tongue.

Somebody forgot to lock the school cabinet.  Selah found the CCD folder.

The perfect sitting area for playing on a cell phone.  Gotta text my peeps!

Why my children could not go out and play in the snow when we finally got more than an inch.  When cleaning up, they decided that their room should be the city dump...and proceeded to DUMP all their drawers, shelveds and toy boxes on the floor.

Making Mt. Tissue, and proud of it!

Micah with Aunt Allison after his Christening at lunch.
(More Christening pictures coming soon, I hope.)

Mr Eric rescuing Selah from certain demise after eating a crayon waiting for her food.  Guess we should have put a rush on it.
Beautiful sunset with a huge ray going up.

The snow pile (courtesy the plow) that Bryan and the kids turned into a fort.

The work in progress fort that the kids (okay, Bryan) made outside the back door.

And here's Sneaky Selah in Action...

Checking to make sure the coast is clear...

The paci steal that makes the baby cry...

Paci is tossed to floor as if baby lost it...

Mommy rescues crying baby and Selah moves in for the kill.
(I am not kidding.  This is really what she does.  She does it to get the bouncy seat, too.)

Micah's Two Months Old

Micah turned 2 months on Monday.  Hard to believe.  Sometimes it seems like he's been here forever, and others like we just brought him  home.  He had his well-visit today.  His "stats" are
13 lbs 1 oz (almost 75th percentile)
25 inches long (97th percentile)
16 1/2 inches around his head  (90th percentile)
So now I can understand why he looks so skinny to us.  His is super long and not that heavy!
He is doing SO much better.  I am able to set him down more and more.  I think that this is a combination of him getting older and cutting the milk out.  His rash is barely there, and he spends very little time fussing for no reason now.  (Unfortunately, the doctor said not to try to reintroduce milk until at least 4 months.  Which feels like forever, but we will get there.)  Of course, his sister or brothers swarm him as soon as I put him down so I usually have to rescue him.  In other words, I am still not getting anything done.  I feel like a hamster in a wheel.  I am constantly going, but can't seem to every get anywhere.  But soon they will all leave me, and I won't care that I have a clean house, so I am trying to enjoy it.
He smiles and coos, does a good job of holding his head up and does NOT like to be left alone in the room.  He wants to be a part of the action!  He's a sweet baby, and once he gets OUT of MY bed, he'll be just about perfect.

Life as Selah's little brother...

A couple of days ago, Mommy and Selah had "Micah-time."  At first, it was just Mommy on the floor with me.  That was a lot of fun.  We smiled at each other a lot.
Then Selah showed up...

Of course she wanted to hold me.  And as you can see here, that is a little bit (lot) scary...

And then I thought she was gone.  I was so relieved...until 30 seconds later I heard "BABY?!?!" She was back!

People are alwasys telling me that I look surprised/scared all of the time.  But I assure you, you would, too, if you were "lucky" enough to be Selah's little brother...

On the topic of Valentine's Day...

I just had to share something from a friend's blog.  (Because I know people are going to ask...We met Dave and Melissa in GA, Jonah played soccer with their oldest, Ashlyn.)  Click HERE to see what Dave made Melissa for V-day.  I think it is totally awesome!  (I am with Melissa that flowers this time of year are a serious waste of money, and I love Doritos, so this is just cool all the way around to me.)

Micah's first Valentine's Day

Mr Eric and Miss Tammy bought me this cute bib, and I just wanted to show it off.  The little girl sitting behind us in church was wearing the same one!
Here are some pictures of me with Noah.  As you can imagine, he likes to torture me...

Don't do it, Noah...PLEASE don't do it!

Awww, you did it!  You took my paci away.  Now I think I will have to show you my right hook!

Wow.  That was easy!  Thanks for giving it back!

That was a bit exhausting.  I think I will take a nap.

Apparently not.  Noah is not done messing with me.  I can't wait to be bigger than him!

Micah going 'sledding'

I don't think he liked being so bundled, but he slept in the front pack the whole time we were there. So I think he was nice and warm at least!

Life from Selah's perspective...

Today, my favorite people came over to play while my parents went on a date.
(I don't know what that is, but my daddy says I can't go on one until I'm at least 30, maybe even 40.  Must be pretty scary!)
Sadly, my parents made me take a nap the WHOLE time they were gone.  I tried to protest, but I was pretty tired, so I just went to sleep for a bit.
And then, I got to play with my favorite people!

This is Miss Tammy and I, having a good laugh.

This is my brother, Noah.  He just does crazy things sometimes.

He was rocking himself while watching people play the Wii.
I was pretty jealous since that used to be my car seat.
So...

Mr. Eric decided to entertain me.

He let me sit on his shouder.

And when my arm got tired, he let me rest it on his head.

And he didn't even mind when I played with my singing dog in his ear!  I think maybe this is because he is old and doesn't hear so well anymore, but don't tell him I said that!

And then he let me sit on his head...and didn't even mind when I stuck my foot in his eye!

When I got tired of climbing on him, he read Noah and I a story.

And then he saved me from sure torture when I tried to wake Noah up.

We had some friends over ast night and Noah stayed up late.  And then he wouldn't take a nap because he was so excited to see Mr Eric and Miss Tammy.  Turns out he was pretty tired and fell asleep in the middle of the chaos.  He should have taken a nap when I did.  Then he wouldn't have missed out on the fun!

Here's my little brother, Micah, getting a little love from Miss Tammy.  He's getting big.  Mom and Dad think he is going to be bigger than me soon.  I hope not.  I want to be in charge of SOMEONE around here!

And here's my dad and Mr Eric playing Wii.  Mr Eric and Miss Tammy brought over a new game to play called Wii Sports Resort.  It's pretty fun- they let me try!

Well that was all the fun for today.  My mom said she's sorry she hasn't been posting pictures much but she just can't seem to stay awake at night and during the day I get into trouble when she's on the computer while feeding Micah.  Hey, can you blame me?  I have Noah to keep up with after all!

Sister Selah and Mr. Micah...

We had some friends over for dinner last night, and of course, it ended up being a crazy day.  Bryan took the van in because our ABS light has been on for a few months (yeah, no ABS.  But it wasn't bad until the snow showed up.) Well, wouldn't you know it took them ALL day to fix it (and about a million dollars.)  So I was rushing around without his help since he was 2 hours late coming home.  And that means a little less adult supervision. Therefore, while I was cooking dinner, Selah found a little trouble...

Here, Mom.  You try some.  They are REALLY good!
(She's eating Hershey's Kisses.  Had about 4 before I caught her.)
~~~
And once again, she seems to be interested in the Sisterhood...
Praying the rosary...
Maybe more playing than praying...
Hey!  The rosary is REALLY long.  My attention span isn't that good yet!
~~~

Micah, hanging out with dad for a bit.

Just in case you couldn't see how cute he was, here's a close up...holding Daddy's hand.
Funny how he seems so big when I hold him and like a tiny, little thing when Bryan does.
