Scout Sunday

Selah enjoyed supporting the American Heritage Girls at Mass this morning for Scout Sunday. And Elijah wanted his picture taken, too. I love this picture of the two of them!

A visitor!

With such a harsh winter, there have been few...actually no...visitors. So the kids were thrilled that Aunt Dianne stopped by over the weekend. Not a good picture, but it's actually the best out of the 9 I took. I'm sure Aunt Dianne didn't sleep well thanks to the noise of the kids and the kids had WAY too much fun with Selah joining the boys for a sleepover in the castle!

18 months!

Mr Elijah hit the 1 1/2 milestone this past weekend. Hard to believe he's so big...and losing that baby look!

"Science experiments"

Micah was happy to spill all the details about their "science experiment" while Selah said, "ssh, Micah! Don't tell her that! We're going to be in so much trouble!"

Noah's half birthday!

Crazy as it seems, Noah is 8 1/2!  We celebrated yesterday with corn dogs for dinner and these cocochoc pyramids for dessert. Noah claims they're the best thing he's ever eaten!

Poor sick baby

This is how Elijah and I spent all of last night (and most of the night before). In the rocking chair, snuggled up. He would only sleep sideways like this. He's waking up every 30-60 minutes, and it's just miserable. He's had a low grade fever for more than 48 hours, isn't eating (except some pureed sweet potatoes), struggling to nurse, and will only take a sip of water at a time. It definitely seems like it is his throat, and no other symptoms besides the fever and snoring at night. This comes on the heels of attempting to go off the quinoa diet Friday and Saturday (which resulted in him getting up 4x Friday night and 6 Saturday night). Sunday was only quinoa again, and he slept from 630 until 4 am! At 4 am Monday, I noticed the fever and it's all been down hill from there.

It's heartbreaking having a kid so sick and not being able to do anything. As miserable as I am, he is obviously more so!! He has an appt with the pediatrician this am just to make sure it's not something more than a virus.
