Just a few days of life.

5am playtime with a sick toddler. I will say it's better than 11pm!

Mom tried to be productive and fold laundry, but Judah wanted to read a story, about Mother who clearly works hard to keep that house clean.

Helping with the new project.

It should be this long.
Put it right here.

All the wood Judah picked out for his project!

Wait, I need more!

His new fun, dragging his chair around with a rope. We had to throw the living room rug out (it got moldy from water spilling while watering the Christmas tree) and have yet to purchase a new one. Which means it is nice and slippery in the living room!

Poor, Sick Judah

We have lived in this chair, day and night. It's the only place we can both kind of sleep.

I'm not sick, you're sick. Now turn the trains back on.

No one can resist the sweet, sleeping child.

An hour of screaming and thrashing around at 1 am, and he finally got stuck under the couch, stayed there a while and then asked me to pick him up.

And promptly fell asleep.

The morning didn't look much better.

But he did finally eat...chocolate!  3 pieces! I guess it is calories...

And that was exhausting, so we are back to napping.

The middle 3 enjoying the snow fall with even a peek of sun!

It's 9 am...

And he's already napping. On the couch. Want to guess how our night was?
He's completely miserable,  if you keep him in your prayers.

Every appreciates company while washing dishes.

But not when the company is sleeping!

LIIIIJJJEEEEEEE! Wake up and play with me!

Fine, Micah will read to me.

Such a pretty snowfall. We went sledding with friends and the kids appreciated the time outside.

Sick little Jude watching the Mother Teresa movie from apparently the most comfortable spot in the living room.

Finally, Snow!

Our last forecasted storm was a complete dud. We expected 6-10 inches and got a dusting. But I'm happy to report this one was a decent one.  The snow makes things so much prettier.  It almost makes up for no sunshine.

I missed pictures of the kids outside. Bryan took Judah out while we were so doing school and then Judah was back in by the time the others went out (which distracted me from pictures).

Elijah's last measurement was just shy of 8 inches in the table- and 9 in the grass! He was thrilled.

Building"houses" in the window.  I was quite impressed,  he did this all by himself.  One block at a time Climbing in and out of the toy box!

We started our morning with Judah and Micah sharing a mango.

Judah's sick again.  I think it's croup, which is terrifying. He's pretty good during the day and sounds much worse at night. Yesterday, he definitely was not feeling great and Micah was taking advantage!

He also did some school with Micah.

And then told Selah he wanted to take a nap. So she put on her mommy hat and got him all fixed up, until mom came in and ruined it all. Noah did this once a few months ago. He did fail asleep but a 20 minute was all that he had and that was a long day!

Watching wild Kratts. Judah's buddy apparently loves it and the kids wanted to show it to him- or so they say.

One relief this illness is that he's still eating. He ate all his dinner and then wanted to come sit with mom.  He then ate all of the good stuff out of my salad. When he was done,  there was no more chicken,  bacon,  avocado, egg,  or cucumbers. Lettuce, tomatoes, and onions are not terrible, but it was a bit disappointing! It's hard to tell him no when it's more-or-less good for him. Plus, he's so sweet when he asks for some!
