Home Day One

Sorry for the lack of update,  I'm sure you can imagine things are crazy after 5 days away. Huge thank you to Aunt Dianne for keeping an eye on the kids, even being their schoolmarm, as she puts it.  It was a relief to know that the kids were all safe and looked after,  and to walk into a kitchen that was clean enough to cook in! Added bonus was not having to cook because my friend Trish set up a meal train. If you're reading this Trish,  or any of the wonderful ladies who cooked for my family,  thank you as well!!

Judah and I had a fantastic night! Quite possibly the best night of his life this far. He was only up 3 times and was easy to settle back asleep.  However... fluid consumption is a huge issue right now and I would have rathered he'd been up eating.

This are going well except for that lack of drinking (and eating). Please pray that improves so we don't have to take him in. And for wisdom for us to know if he needs to go in.

He also has a few spots of his incision that are pulling apart some and oozing. Pray that doesn't continue to worsen, but again for us to have the wisdom to know when it's time to go in.

Micah,  Selah,  and Elijah helped make biscuits and gravy because Judah couldn't be set down. The did a great job!

Only picture of Judah that wasn't of his diaper contents or his incision. He's definitely still got a lot of healing to do and in pain some. But he was certainly happy to be home.
