Painting with Picasso

Two, clear, winter mornings in a row?! Wow.  It's not even my birthday! And we even saw 19 degrees, though the sun did not stay out long enough.

Forgot this lonely pop outside overnight.  The kids let it the just enough to be slushy on the counter and then opened it. Oh the mess. If you've never had the pleasure,  it's like a slow but steady volcano. Perfectly slushy to make up for the fact it's not Vernor's and Vernor's is the only acceptable ginger ale.

Today it wasn't hiding things,  it was coloring rulers under the chair.  I missed the best shot, where he was using his foot to hold the rulerwhile he colored it.

And then he regained his pants and moved on to the pantry. He LOVES the pantry and wrecks havoc daily. Today, he got into the napkins and cleaned the floor and saved some for later in the garlic container.

Good thing he cleaned the kitchen floor,  because mom and dad had to clean the first and the baby!

It was hard to take him away(physically and emotionally) but while the clothes are trash,  (baby Yoda, too!) Everything else came mostly clean. The for needs some work in the grooves but it's barely noticeable.

It's my fault,  I was on the phone while cooking dinner and Bryan asked me to watch him while he painted. I agreed and clearly failed at the same moment Bryan was in the garage looking for something,  leaving the paint unattended. And the kids were playing video games online with friends. Judah wins this round!

I also thought this was funny from yesterday. There was a minecraft sword on the back of the napkins. One of the boys noticed and they went through the trouble to tear them out and sword ight with them. Boys are a funny crowd. I found one forgotten and forlorn on the counter this morning.
