4 out of 5 tested today in Taekwondo. Kinda a big deal as they haven't tested since CO. They had tested right before the COVID shutdown, and they never really figures what they needed to do to test in VA. So it's been 15 months or so at the same belt. They were glad to move on. And they were all worried , even still. But they've worked hard and it showed. They did great.
All successful besides Noah- who doesn't test until Tuesday. He's testing for his black belt, so say a prayer for him! It's a lot to remember and do and he's quite nervous. He has to perform not only his black belt form, but every form leading up the black belt. Nine in all, I do believe.
Obligatory ice cream celebration post testing. (Yes, even Noah despite the fact he hasn't tested yet. Hopefully not too premature. ) Also, custard flavor of the week is banana. A very yellow banana. Everyone said it was great, but I wasn't even sad I couldn't enjoy. (Now last week I drove past and the flavor was Kahlua and THAT I was sad about.)
That smile never gets old.
