Who Doesn't Love a Trip to Bass Pro Shops?!

After striking out at multiple Costco and Sam's Club locations in out search for a camping bunk bed to use on our adventure crammed into an itty bitty apartment, we tried Bass Pro Shops.

Of course, as usual I turn around to find the kids climbing on something they shouldn't...before we even enter the store.
Once inside, one must always check out the fish.
And learn about them.

This was a 2-story Bass Pro Shops. And the stairs went up and around the fish tank...which Elijah found both fascinating and terrifying.
Upstairs, we found the shooting range.

Bryan and Jonah competed.

Jonah did very well. Almost a hot shot on their scale.

Of course, when your dad is a firearms instructor,  that's not good enough to win. Maybe next time,  Jonah.

He did redeem himself,  however, when we found the camping bunk bed and Bryan asked someone to grab a cart. They briefly argued over the weight and Jonah just picked it up and carried it himself. (Bryan said 40 lbs. Jonah claimed it was well over that and weighed it at 70 when we got to the apartment. There are occasions that having an 18yo make around is useful. )

And no trip.is ever complete without trying out the boats. Including the $71,000 PONTOON BOAT (not pictured. Also not pictured,  trying out all the ATVs and work vehicles. I was too busy trying to convince everyone they weren't toys to take pictures.)
