Great Falls National Park

Great Falls National Park is a gorgeous little gem we've never been to before. It's a group of Falls on the Potomac River. George Washington and his men build a series of locks there many years go. It was very pretty and always cool to be where men who were larger than life walked. However, I can't say we'll go back anytime soon. Despite the Coronavirus outbreak, it was still crowded and most of the area is restricted to walkways so it was not as fun for the kids.

Once again, most of the pictures are on the camera. Hopefully, I'll find time to upload some of them.

Probably their favorite part, swinging on a vine!

The best view, in my opinion.

After watching a helicopter rescue,  we drove over the river to the park on the other side and crossed a bridge to Olmstead Island.

We ended our day with some fabulous grilled burgers and then a family round of Concept.
