Fresh Snow and Sunshine

Nothing beats a fresh snowfall. It's so clean and quiet. And since there sun is always out here,  it's even more glorious,  but also shortlived. It was 50 today, so it's mostly gone already but Pike's Peak looked especially wonderful today.

Seems so frequent this year, but we got a dose of freezing fog to compliment the snow.

And flashback to a year ago.  First day here and we got a bomb cyclone. Second day and we got to enjoy the effects.  So much snow.  Sunshine.  But no furniture because the truck couldn't get here. Hundreds of cars were stranded on the roads.  Blessedly, we made it to Costco the night before and had food!
