Mandatory Fun Saturday

We spent our Saturday sheltered in place. The weather wasn't great and we'd had quite a few days of go-go-go, especially Friday when we didn't even get home until 11pm. And since one cannot go anywhere indoors at the moment because everything is closed...we took advantage and had a lazy day.
It was nice to have a slow day.  A GI party in the morning, didn't take too long given the small quarters. Followed by lunch and a 3.5 hour round of Catan. There was certainly a learning curve, but one game and I think we've got the basics down.

This sweet child may have asked how much longer around 8 times.  She didn't realize mandatory fun isn't always fun,  I guess.

Elijah also got bored and was shelling pistachios for anyone who may want them. (Hence the bowls in front of Selah.) All-in- all,  I think everyone had fun and Noah came back from a serious deficit and won the game handily.

Just a glympse of us as we share a room, having lost more than 4000 sqft overnight. Jonah's practicing his form, Selah's in the wheeled chair mostly notched by Jonah. Elijah is still just so happy to have his dad's attention, and Noah and Micah are there because there's nowhere else to be.
