Surgery Complete. Success and no surprises!

Still waiting on Judah to wake up but I just spoke with Dr Park and he was happy with it all.

He said his bladder looked good. They were able to remove the area with the scar tissue and reimplant the ureter. He did place a stent to facilitate keeping that ureter open while it heals (so another round of anesthesia when they remove that.)

The incision was a bit bigger than planned to allow enough access but it is mostly where the previous incision was and not as big as the last one.

They were successful with a one time epidural dose of pain meds that should help the first 12-24 hours.

All good news! Please pray for comfort, sleep (preferably in his crib!), and recovery of his little body...as well as keeping that IV!
