Home Today, We Hope!

Sleepy morning again, we watched a couple of home videos but bested that he's just been resting.

His night was okay. Definitely not bad.  He slept pretty well in the crib again.  He did wake up and vomit at 2 am.  That part wasn't fun. We followed that with some Zofran (anti-nausea drug) and it's been okay since then. He's had 4 ounces so far today,  so at least we are getting that into him.

We've been blessed with great nurses, and they've been as hands off as they can be. While I haven't gotten much sleep is probably the most of gotten during any of his hospital stays, even the NICU. I think last night I got a 3 hour stretch! Then another hour after things settled back down. The fact no one came in for 3 hours is so awesome. And they only came in then because I called them!

Dr Park came by this morning. He removed the catheter about 2 hours ago. Now we just kinda wait for him to pee. It could take a while, since his bladder is so large and he has poor muscle strength so he doesn't empty it often.  I'm hoping by early afternoon.  If we can continue intake (though he still is on IV fluids so that helps) and we get some output going, I think we will be good to go home.

Until then we snuggle!

(Our only other little worry is his blood pressure.  It's been in the 120s and they like to see it 90s or low 100s. But so far they haven't said it'll make us have to stay.)
