A nap in the car

On Fridays we got to a co-op for homescooling. It makes for long days as we have to take Bryan to work and then get to co-op by 8:15. And while co-op and Bryan's work aren't in TOTALLY different directions (thankfully) they are still about 25 minutes apart. So it takes us a solid hour (sometimes a little more if there is traffic) to get there. It's worth it though, as the kids LOVE it. They count down every week. We get out of there about 12:15 or so and then have time to kill until we pick up Bryan at 4. And in an effort to not take the car any more than necessary, we generally try to do all of our errands in there. Are you laughing? Because yes, doing a week's worth of errands with 4 kids and a pregnant mom in 3 hours is kind of a joke. But I admit I usually feed the kids snacks for lunch (to both save money and time as well as the stress of trying to find "safe" foods for all the kids) and we generally never get done half of what I plan. But it does usually result  in exhausted, crabby kids. And Micah almost always falls asleep- sometimes Selah does, too.

Jonah took it upon himself to give Micah a second applesauce. And it appears that Micah didn't want it and he painted himself with it. Fun to clean up? Not so much.

I didn't get the picture in time, as he woke up he just picked up the applesauce and started sucking. It was cute until he started crying!
