It's the Little Things in Life...

Bryan and I had recieved some Intel that the Dollar Tree got their shipments on Thursdays and the hand sanitizer was usually gone by 11. So we got up nice and early and got there when they opened at 8. Sadly, they didn't receive any hand sanitizer.  But the gentleman checking out overheard us asking and informed us that Walmart had some.  So we scurried across the stress and were awarded one bottle each by the lady guarding it at the back of the store. It was $4.82 a bottle and I was irritated at the price but thrilled to remove the stress of almost being out!

Selah's been busy working with her knitting loom. Elijah was impressed with her latest creation and asked to learn. His interest was short lived, but nice of her to teach him.

Selah continued to work as we had a day of intense Science studying.

After Bryan got home from work, we headed out for fresh air at Mason's Neck Nature Preserve. By the time I got out of the car, Noah was almost on top of the bathrooms. Cabin fever apparently makes kids lose all sense of good decision making.

After being told he had to cease his adventure to mount the bathrooms, Noah found a nice, big fallen tree to climb and the others followed suit.

Jonah, however, was more content to play in the mud than climb.

In the absence of vines to swing on, the kids found a curved tree to experiment with.

Noah got it low enough for Elijah to climb on.

But thankfully, it wasn't strong enough to catapult Elijah when Noah let go. I'm sure that sounded fun. And Elijah's medical is good-to-go, but any medical facility is a place I'd rather avoid at all cost right now. I think an ER visit is almost a guarantee you're going to have COVID-19 in ther very near future.

Decisions, decisions.

Eagle Point won. There were no eagle sightings. And we will likely all be sick thanks to the kids all using the telescope.  I was too slow to stop it but thankfully we obtained those 2 bottles of hand sanitizer this morning.

Pretty view despite the lack of wildlife sightings.

We finished our evening with Holy Thursday Mass on TV. We watched Fr Larry Richard's because Fr Quezada didn't broadcast one in an effort to encourage the Parish to tune into bishop's live Mass. That live Mass didn't start until 9pm Eastern and no one wanted to wait for it. Only 2 kids fell asleep, I was impressed.  It was an enjoyable Mass, though weird woth only a priest. It'll be that much more exciting next year when we can attend in person.
