Orthopedic Check-up

Gotta love 0830 appointments downtown...when they make you wait 20 min to even check in. And then, while we saw the doc pretty quickly, we had to wait to see the lady who fits for boots. So in all, it was 90 minutes of trying to entertain an almost 5 month old. Without the diaper bag ( it was in Dad's truck with Dad.) I'm out of practice but, thankfully, he was fairly happy.

He loved my "COVID screened" bracelet,  and was quite annoyed he couldn't eat it. This was a good 10 minutes of fun.

He played with his socks.
Showing off those new sitting up skills while getting the sock.

Since he couldn't eat the bracelet, and I wouldn't let him eat his dirty socks, he tried to eat me.

And then my mask.

Finally we made faces at the camera. Which someone clearly still has set to a filter-even Judah's skin isn't that perfect!

Appointment wise, the bad news was he's still in 23 hour wear for another month. Good news, both feet look great and the tightness of his right foot (the uncasted one) has loosened up from the boot wear. I also had them lengthen the bar in hopes of improving our night fits - and therefore sleep. Fingers crossed.

In other news,  Bryan went to the final walk thru while we were there.  The white ovens? They're not a mistake,  exactly.  The stainless ones are on back order. They're a loner until they come in.  Yay for ovens,  at least!

There's still a lot not done. Not sure why the final walk thru is a week before closing.  Sending up Prayers they finish!
