Micah's pretty jaundice, & since his levels are still rising, he has to not only nurse every 2 hours, but end each feeding with a 2 ounce bottle. The doctor is pretty confident that this will result in lower levels tomorrow. The worst of it is that he is very tired because of the jaundice, which means he doesn't want to eat. And the only way to break down the bilirubin, which is causing the jaundice, is to eat. So here's hoping to a good night of feedings and lower levels tomorrow...otherwise they will have to admit him & put him under the special lights. Whish would suck.
