Judah's First Ashes

It's a good day to nap on Jonah!

And in the car, headed to the dentist.

And on Dad, in the car, at the dentist!

Bonus shot, Elijah at the dentist.  The kids love the dentist,  such a blessing to never fight with them about going. (Well, the younger kids love it.  Teenagers hate everything and everyone and it's all a fight.)

He was pretty excited to have his own TV to watch while he was there.  However, he was disappointed at the lack of a treat at the end. He got a tube of chapstick.  Not impressive to an 8yo! The exciting part is that next visit is back at our old dentist that we love in MI‐ Who does give treats!

Today began Lent. I believe a lot of places just sprinkled ashes on people's heads this year because of COVID.  Our parish didn't,  but they did clean their hands with alcohol between each person. That resulted in the best, darkest crosses, ever!

And Judah even got his own little cross on his head.  He didn't mind, contrary to the look in the picture. This was later and he was hungry.
