I love Christmas decorations. And we've tried to adjust our decorating schedule to be more in line with the church season than the secular one. So generally the decorations are up from the Saturday before Gaudette Sunday until at least the baptism. And this year, I just want them to stay up a little longer. They're so pretty and I love that we aren't sick of them like so many are by Christmas. The kids tore the window film on the side light recently, and when I went to replace it I hesitated. While I hate that people can see right into the main area of my house through that window, right now it gives such a pretty picture with the tree there. Though I suppose I need to consider the mismatched lights in the future.
