Selah: Mommy, can you cut the tag off of my shoes?
Me: Selah, you can't wear your new shoes to play at soccer.
Selah: yes, Mommy.
A minute later I walk into the kitchen and take this photo.
Me: Selah! What are you doing??
Selah: trying to get scissors to cut the tag off my shoes!
Me: what happened to your clothes?
Selah: I was changing for soccer and I needed to put my shoes on.
Pants are optional. Shoes are essential. Got it.
