Good News

Such a good day overall. Judah took 2 good naps. His biggest issue today was definitely the effects of the antibiotics on his GI tract. Just like post surgery, we're going through almost 20 diapers a day. And not only is he in some pain, he has developed a diaper rash. I did give him 2 doses of probiotics today to try to accelerate the healing. (Bottle said one or two times a day over 12 months.  Figure it can't hurt at this point.)

His other issue is separation anxiety.  This was nap time.  I slowly slid his arm out of my shirt and tried to move,  only to find his other arm tucked up my sleeve.  He was trying hard.  He doesn't even like being left to play in the living room.  He immediately starts crying.  He's pretty traumatized from his past two adventures. Here's hoping he normalizes again soon.
That random warm day bright a couple of "ducks" (geese) to the pond. He was happy to see them again.

Jonah tried to convince him to take a nap with him, he even turned some sea turtle calming video thing on the TV ...but you can see how that went.

This. This was the best part of the day. He ate almost the whole thing. Has had 3 partial bottles, hummus, and even a blueberry. This is the most he has eaten since surgery!

Reading himself a bedtime story about cars.
