Happy Sunday Morning at Home

Guess who woke up happy this morning! Talking and ready to play.  He was up quite a few times during the night, maybe 10, but nursed back to sleep.

Might sound bad,  but way better than in the hospital because I was in a bed, not in a chair with a baby on top of me getting scolded for sleeping by the nurses.  (Actually only one nurse said anything. I assure you I tried and tried to get him into the crib.  Succeeded twice and the first time the nurse came and woke him 30 min later and the second the doc came to check him almost immediately.  I don't know what they want. Sick kids just want to be held. I guess they want 2 parents to trade off staying awake?)

He also has had 2 good wet diapers by 8 am, so I know he was getting fluids at night.  He got excited when he saw his bottle this morning,  but only took a half ounce.

He was playing and fairly happy this morning.  The kids made him a fort, but couldn't convince him to give up his car.
I went to pick up his meds last night, thinking he would sleep a bit. He didn't,  but Dad took him on a walk.  I was greeted by this adorable sight when they got back.  (Not pictured,  the fact he's not wearing pants 🤣)

I'm other news,  it's the first Sunday of Lent.  It sounded like there was all kinds of construction vehicles outside at 6 am... turns out it was the wind. It's forcasted to be 60 today,  with 60 mph gusts. Seems the gusts have arrived.

Micah gave up sweats for Lent, so here he is enjoying this this am while checking out the warm wind blowing in.

Elijah gave up yogurt... and hadn't yet starved.  Sounds silly but he has yogurt for a meal pretty much every day. With chocolate chips and cocoa powder. He was so excited he wouldn't even let me take a picture first.
