You can probably guess- That was Elijah. All day. He went to bed sad that he didn't feel fat and tomorrow is Ash Wednesday and he won't be able to eat.
Of course, he won't actually fast tomorrow. We generally make the kids keep any snacks healthy but they eat normal meals. I suppose given Elijah's difficulty in finding healthy snacks that he will eat - I can't think of any besides peanut butter and Nutella crackers and that's a stretch for healthy- he may feel like he's going to starve tomorrow.
But never fear, he had ice cream before bed- after BLTs and then cereal. He snacked all day, had coffee and pop. I think he managed to get quite enough fattening things in on Fat Tuesday despite the lack of paczki this year. (They did have pazcki 2 weeks ago, you may recall. I feel no guilt.)
Not a mountain sunrise, but I do enjoy the view as much as I can.
Judah is terrified of the robot vacuum. He needs a name, the old one was Mako, like the shark.(shark brand.) It died while vacuuming during the night and he was very cautious approaching it even though it wasn't moving.
Flash back to the old baby Judah days in VA when we walked around with him like this all of the time.
He found Selah's doll's coffee cup and had such fun. It has a little clear handle that he could wedge his finger into.
We found the missing corpus for the crucifix Rich made us when we moved. Judah helped Dad hang it.
A while layer, I hear Elijah praying and find this. He was teaching him the Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be, Salve Regina, and I think a couple bedtime prayers. He is just the best big brother.
