Judah has a fever. Please pray for him and for wisdom moving forward.
It's 101.1, and the instructions are to call if it is 101.5 or greater. I'll still be calling, just not sure how they will choose to proceed. It's 2 weeks post-op. We've transitioned to no pain meds and all things except eating are good.
He was off all day yesterday, multiple times he just laid down while playing. In the evening, he was fussy during his bath. Bryan took a video, it's so funny. He's playing just fine and then Bryan lays a finger in him and he cries.
After his bath he just screamed. He's a 0-60 kid, and when he is tired he can be a bear. I dressed him as quickly as I could, skipped the boots he was so hysterical, and he did nurse to sleep. He spent the first 10 minutes whining while nursing. He seemed to be in pain but after almost an hour I was able to leave him and he slept for 45 minutes and woke with a fever.
He's been fussy all night and refusing to nurse. It's 4 am and I just gave him motrin. He is now cool to the touch and clammy. He nursed some but obviously something is wrong. I hate that his urologist us so far away, not sure if we start with him or the pediatrician...
Playing with his car earlier yesterday. He has taken a shine to matchbox cars. I think he likes how they fit in his hand.
