Afternoon Update

Well, they were unsuccessful at obtaining a urine sample at the pediatrician.  Not because they were inept, but because his bladder was empty.

His doc thinks it's unlikely it's a UTI given that he's on prophylactic antibiotics already.

No other sign or symptoms besides a very slightly red ear but she doesn't think it is that. Plus she said his antibiotic can help if it was that. (Not the ideal choice but one that could treat most ear infections.)

Her best guess is Roseola, as she's seen a few cases lately. It's a virus that has a fever for 3 days and then a rash. So we just watch and wait. Biggest concerns are dehydration, inconsolable childn or a fever not responding to meds.

Not sure what to think as we arrived. Note white car in his hand.

Not a happy baby waiting for doc. Still has car.

All done with the torture but still not happy. Still has the car, though.

Leaving. With the car.

Home. Still has car, bit out of shot. Refused to even eat the oatmilk ice cream bar.
