Earlier today, estimates were at 6-10. But I don't think we'll hit 10. We've got 2-3, and it's a very heavy, wet snow. Driving home from Soup and Stations was rough (got stuck in the parking lot and needed the 4-wheel drive) but we made it safely.
And....despite the weather....we had 35 people at for soup and Father's talk! We would have completely run out of soup (we were seriously thinking 10, max) but Deacon Larry saved us with his Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese Croutons. Seriously! Ingenious! (I assume they were delicious, but I wasn't trying those ingredients again.)
As for the bread dilemma from yesterday, I forgot to take a picture. But the drier dough that was measured, not weighed, made prettier loaves. Not sure the taste was different, though.
I do so love the quiet, sereneness of a blanket of fresh snow. I must enjoy it now, it'll be all Chopped up once the kids get out there and play tomorrow.
Despite the fact he took a nap from 2 until I woke 4, he was asleep before 9 as we watched The Chosen on the couch. I'll take it. He's always sweet.
