Sunshine and Naps

It's 9 am
...
Want to ask how our night went?

Could have been worse. Way worse.

But there was still a lot of room for improvement. (I mean, he was up 3 times before midnight.)

I give you Exhibit A.

And Exhibit B. Noon.

It made Elijah's day.

Then there was some basketball while Jude continued to nap the day away. The kids claimed it was HOT outside. I assure you that just taking this picture assured me they were wrong. It was not hot.

That sun, I tell ya. This was the glory of Colorado. When I first went out to house hunt, I had a taste of this - a confusing idea to someone who lives in Michigan. It was 27 degrees but I was standing outside in the sun in my wool coat and I was HOT.

Exhibit C.

And EJ continued to be Judah's buddy even after his nap. Must have been the sun.

Elijah also wore his color-blind glasses all day, and even to Mass. The sunshine made them so much more effective and I heard, "Whoa!" All day long.

Looks like a heatwave of 50 tomorrow, but rain, so there won't be any sunshine to improve anyone's mood, enable the wearing of shorts, or encourage sunglasses indoors. In theory.
