Day 2 in the Books

No new news, but here's a few pictures.

Finally seeing those eyes this morning.

He SHOULD have his boots on but they complicate things. He will never tolerate the pulse ox on his finger, and then they have to do blood pressure on his arm and that's way too stressful and he's so miserable right now so I'm enjoying the cute baby toes. And praying I'm not going to mess his treatment up!

Dad came up today and read stories!
He was awake for quite a while. So I hope that means he'll sleep well tonight!

We also went for a walk. No pictures because we both forgot our phones. Judah also vomited whole we were out. I don't know if his dad's wheelchair driving did him in or it was just resudual from the anesthesia but let's pray it was a one time thing. We want to go home!

And of course the kids called and called and then panicked because we were phoneless for an hour.

So that was 25 calls from them today. And about 200 texts. If you're wondering what I'm doing here... now you know. (And by them, it's mostly Elijah. This one reason why 10yos don't get phones.)

Post walk nap on Dad.

Sometimes, he seems so big. But next to his dad's hand, he's still got some growing to do.

Unrelated flashback, a friend sent this today. This was Judah's baptism when he was 3 months old- April 2021.

A different friend sent this flashback last week. Look how precious and little he was. And bald!

Thanks for praying! It's really helped so much, he's doing so well!

I'll leave you with his phrase of the day...."I don't like it!"

Generally, he is addressing the nurses as they try to get vitals or mom as she tries to force the meds in. Unfortunately, he's been moved to oral antibiotics now,  too...so that's just one more fight. But it is all in the name of going home so....
