Hilarious that they were so worried about his size. Offered a Csection when we got here. Had extra people in the delivery for fear of shoulder dystocia. No complications on delivery. He was the smallest boy yet. And earliest, born at 39 weeks.
So glad I said I really didn't think he was that big, no thanks to surgery!
We got a little time with him before they took him to the NICU. He seems to be doing well, other than not wanting to eat. And he emptied his bladder, TONS. Wonder what his weight was before all that, but these new baby-friendly hospitals are great about delaying weight and all and just letting baby and mom snuggle.
Not thrilled that now we can only see him for 30 minutes every 3 hours because they want a Foley catheter in place until we are transferred. Ready to be at Children's where I will be able to room in with him.
