Too cold in July for a water park?

We took the kids to the Squirt Zone at the metro parks on Thursday.
And the weather up here is killing me. Not that I am missing the 100+ days, but when i am cold, dry and 8 months pregnant, I cannot imagine the poor kids in the freezing water! It actually was 80 degrees, but there was a cold wind (who in Augusta wouldn't kill for that!) and I was cold-with goose bumps, no joke- sitting there watching them. But they both had a blast, although Noah was completely dry when we left!

Jonah jumping over a sprinkler and Noah pacing
around the edge.
Jonah realizing just how cold it was and Noah watching him thinking just how crazy he was!
"I want to try it too.....never mind. It's too cold!"
Noah's one attempt to use the "guns" which was a quick run to Jonah and an ever quicker scurry back out!

"He may be the tall, handsome one, but I am the the one with the brains! Survival of the fittest means not freezing to death!"
This is where Noah spent most of his time. Just hanging out on the bench watching the kids. He really did think it was great!
"I'm going to get you, Daddy!"
"Hey, wait for me!"
The boys playing word tag, our own invention, while dinner cooked. (If you get tagged, the tagger gives you a word and you have to spell it and then you are it. They don't get that you don't want to be it. Might have a little trouble when they get to gym class! By the way, Noah's words are always A or I. Keeps it more fair, he spells those quite well!)

"NO! Don't eat my plate!!!"

First there were 2 seagulls, and when we ran out of bread there were over 40! Jonah and Noah thought that it was great!

"We've been hit! Man your battle stations!"
And just enough time to play at the park before bed. Noah is headed underground, with Jonah and Daddy close behind!

Looks like a ton of fun! :) I can see your point though. I am ALWAYS cold. This weekend we are going to a waterpark that is supposed to be 86 degrees year round. I can almost bet that I will be freezing at some point! Oh well! At least the kids have fun.
