Tennis, anyone?

Jonah is taking tennis lessons this summer, finally. We kept promising, but the place in Augusta always had some crazy excuse why they kept getting cancelled - after we got there of course. He absolutely LOVES it, and he has improved a bit. The "class" is 16 kids ages 6-10, and one instructor, so it wasn't quite what I had envisioned, but it was relatively inexpensive.

Can anyone guess why Jonah (far right) and Lance (next to him) still don't know how to keep score? (Noah (far left) just loves making things about himself!)

A little low, but a nice overall swing.

It was beautiful AND it went over the net. Better than me! (Mine are either beautiful into the net or ugly as sin, but make it over. Do you think that maybe that is why Bryan insisted we put Jonah in lessons and not just have me teach him? And why Bryan keeps saying that he would happily pay for me to have lessons? Hmm, I wonder...)

Jonah and Lance
Can't keep score, but they were the CHAMPS anyway!

Totally unrelated, this was Noah's first visit to the Ice Cream Truck. Usually it comes when he is napping, THANKFULLY...er..poor kid! $5 for two kids to get ice cream!! He really enjoyed it, so did the ants. Now I not only hate Chuck E. Cheese, Toys R Us, and sand, but also the music that plays loud enough to wake the dead pretty much everyday. How creatively can you say NO to the ice cream truck, let me count the ways....
