We finally have the official word...
Ci trasferiamo in Italia!
Should your Italian be rusty...
We are moving to Italy!
We've been waiting on word for so long it hardly seems real.
Bryan took us to Olive Garden to tell us we finally have orders.
We eat out so rarely, it was an adventure. One that reminded us why we just eat at home.
And that was before the bill came.
Jude said the broccoli tastes just like the broccoli we have at home. And he was quite ecstatic that they brought him TWO glasses of lemonade! That's about all he had, not much room for food after all that lemonade.
As for the details-
We will be moving to Vicenza, which is in Northern Italy.
We expect to be there for 3 years.
We love visitors.
We will not be returning to Michigan, but do not know for sure where we will return to. (I vote Alaska.)
We will continue to homeschool.
We will move there at the end of June.
Prayers are appreciated.
We have a house to sell in addition to squaring away all the many, many items necessary to move overseas!
I do expect to be a bit better about the blog once we have something to blog about! Cathedrals, castles, ruins, mountains, and lots and lots of relics! And, of course, cappuccino, pizza, pasta, wine, and GELATO!
