Little Judah was a champ!
Best of all, His bloodwork all came back normal!
The nurse got the vein on the first try, with only a little digging around. Likely the first round was high because it clotted. The lab did not note that to the doc but that is most likely. And it happened with every kidney panel they tried to run from a heel stick in the NICU. (This is why I actually requested she use a vein, but she couldn't find one.)
He was quite mad during his ultrasound, so I didn't see much. Bladder and ureters were still quite large. There was still hydronephrosis of the kidneys. The images weren't the clearest because he was moving so much. We will see if they were clear enough to help the doc.
The nephrologist said we were good to go home but that she spoke with the urologist and he will be calling to get Judah in sooner. I couldn't get an appt until the end of the month, so I'm actually glad to hear we can possibly get in sooner. I do fear we may need to take further measures to deal with the large bladder, but we shall see what he says.
It may be late, but it all ends on a good note!
