The playground was way too crowded at Stony Creek today, so we headed out into the forest. Also crowded, but certainly less so.
The trees are tapped.
The kids checked every bag they found for bugs. They pretty much all had bugs, some had scores of ants. They were a little disgusted, but you can't blame a bug for finding food the easy way!
Elijah found a frog.
Micah watched the waterfall. He doesn't like to hike.
There were some very bright eggs..
And this is why I miss CO. Well, one reason. Golly, that's so boring and dead looking.
