All the photos are a mess right now...there are 4 memory cards and 3 computers with lots of randomness on them...and then the external hard drive that they all need to be transferred to! But I do see this family picture from Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island to share.
We had a great time hanging out on the island for 2 weeks this Fall while Bryan did a firearms course. Lucky for him, the course was fun and he still had the evenings and weekends to enjoy the sand and surf. I'm not a sand fan, but I was able to put aside my horror and enjoy the warmth and the slower pace.
Overall, it was a good trip for everyone...right up until Hurricane Matthew chased us out. A mandatory evacuation forced us to leave 4 days early, but gave us a few days to visit relatives in West Virginia on the way home. Hard to complain too much!
