This is Jonah's Cathedral. He was inspired by a recently acquired book about Cathedrals (Thanks Mom)

After tons of visitors, and heartbreaking news from friends in GA, we had a family outing to just enjoy life and each other. We went to the lake (Lake St. Clair, we live about a mile from there. It actually sits between Lake Erie and Lake Michigan. Never knew it existed until we got here!) Ice cream, good to the last drop, birds, and a few smiles.

Yes, Mom, I need every calorie possible. I am planning to hibernate this winter.

Of course there was no bread left for the swans. The boys were really sad.

I am seriously out of my mind. I decided to take a cake decorating class the last 4 weeks of my pregnancy. Don't ask. I was trying to get out of the house and have a life while i still could. Here's the clown cake. Not what i had pictured, but hey, neither was Elmo. The others were taken next door without pictures, they were even worse. And the best part? WE DON'T LIKE CAKE!

It is the headless fighter pilot and his trusty wingman!

(Too bad the pumpkins won't last until Halloween! They came from the neighbors garden that grew into our yard.)
