This was Noah during "room time" on Wednesday. I guess he got a little bored playing with his Diego submarine and reading the bedtime stories book! (Cute as it is, it means he doesn't really take a nap, and if he doesn't nap...neither do I!)
Bryan won father and husband of the year for building Jonah a star port Sunday night. He has literally done nothing but play with it if we are at home since then. It has been so wonderful, except when Noah gets in there and "accidentally" crashes ships. (This is built out of legos- and a glider box- and is way more impressive in person than in the pictures!)
Noah really loves the new glider we got for Selah (and Mommy). He constantly wants to go rock with me. Uh-oh... can you see where this is going once Selah needs to eat all the time?

Saw the OB and the perinatologist today. Both reports were good. Her MCA Dopplers were between 58.8 and 61.2. (They want it under 62.2) So they said that was good. (Bryan and I kind of wonder if it is at all significant that the number has steadly increased and is close to 62, but we will see what next week brings!) The pictures from the appt were terrible, I will spare you. Only 2 D ones and they were very blurry. When the baby is 36 weeks along you would think that you would be able to see her clearly! She still has those hands all up in her face. Is she self-conscious about her nose already? (She is really going to hate me when she is older and reads this!) They measured her and she weighs about 6 lbs 8 oz and is measuring about 5 days ahead of schedule. Sounds pretty perfect to me! (I really cannot wait to compare their weight guess to her actual birth weight! How acurate is technology?)
The only news that was a bit disappointing was...
we have a tenative induction date of the 2nd of September.
Now if you were around 8 years ago, you may remember that was our wedding day. But the doctor only does inductions on tuesdays, so it is the 2nd or the 9th (Michael and Michelle's anniversary for all you DLIers). And Bryan has court in GA sometime mid to late September. In an effort to not be alone with a day old baby and 2 boys... the second is sounding like the better option. However, if we get a date for court and it is late September, we may go with the 9th- I am certain she is enjoying her solitude in there more than she will enjoy her brothers out here! We will let you know more later. And there is always that POSSIBILITY that I could just "go into labor." I am just not convinced that really happens. I think people lie.

Good luck figuring out your induction date. We'll be anxious to hear what you guys decide on! (Or what Selah decides on)
