These are my boys, with their new Jeep! If you have had the pleasure of speaking with them recently, you have probably heard more than you ever wanted to know! Like how you HAVE to have a key, and it has REAL brakes-no joke, you have to change the brakes!
I have decided to forgo my pride and actually show you what my house looks like. I hope that my husband does not call and yell at me :) I think he cares more than i do, but then he's not 7 months pregnant! This is the living room, though you can only see part of it. The other part only has a couch and a love seat, no big deal. Oh, and a toy box we tried to hid in the corner! The only reason that it is this clean is that we had company over last night, so we spent the weekend (and i do mean the WHOLE weekend) cleaning!
This is the den/guest room. (Obviously we have some work to do in here. We have to figure out a way to get a box spring home from the store without a truck, and there are more boxes that you cannot see from this angle- be grateful!
The dining room...we ate in here last night, and once you see the pictures from dessert, you will understand why the table cloth is not on the table! None of the window treatments are mine by the way- or the painting.
This is my "huge" kitchen. Unfortunately there is no pantry and with all those beautiful windows, there is little cupboard space. But it is nice and bright and there is TONS of counter space. The back area is a bay and it sticks out where you cannot see. It is much bigger than it looks in this picture!
Welcome to the boys room. Noah has a "tent" on his bed. He and little Brutus sleep well in there. Jonah and "Daddy" Brutus sleep up top. We did paint this room, it is "Air Force" blue! (Not really, but don't tell Jonah that! Air Force Blue is a bit too dark for their little room!) We have not decorated yet, so excuse the craziness!
This is Selah's room. It needs a little work! You should see what it looks like in person! Good thing we still have almost 10 weeks!
This is our room, can't find our bedding. It's around here somewhere i imagine! The wall color is an ugly pea green-it is horrible. Bryan will not let me paint it. He says that I can deal with it for a year. (But Selah gets a pink bedroom- even though she will never know the difference! How fair is that?) Did you see the curtains? They are worse than they look! But like Bryan said, it's only a year! I have other things to do right now- like find my bedding!
Here's the other side of our room. Scary- you should see what you can't see thanks to the camera! It doesn't look like it, but the room is pretty big. We can easily fit Selah in here if we have to, which we may if the boys do not stop waking each other up and playing at night and driving me nuts!
This is the room that I avoid. It is not too bad right now, but as i said we had company. Bryan is probably going to be mad when he sees what the boys have done- this picture was taken an hour ago. And they are supposed to be down there "cleaning up" but somehow it has gotten 10 times worse in the last hour! But like I said, the steps kill me right now, so I just avoid it!
This is the other side. My children are not for want of toys...although they seem to think that they are deprived! Bryan was showing Jonah "shanties" on the Internet to convince him how good his life is last night. I think it may be time for Jonah to start volunteering in the community and see how other people live! In defense of all the toys, this is house number 11 for us since we married less than 8 years ago! We have spent a lot of time with things in storage, and I am also a terrible pack rat. But i really do plan on getting down there and weeding stuff out, hopefully before Selah gets here.

That's it. that is our disaster right now. i failed to show you the hallway that is full of boxes as well as the 3, yes THREE , storage rooms in the basement that are full of boxes. Out of sight, out of mind. Of course that is the mentality that has gotten us into this kind of mess with so much junk!
