Guess that is more comfy than it looks!
Wishing we still had that Colorado sunshine, one gloomy Michigan winter day at a time.

Silly girl
It took me a solid 5 minutes to find Selah tonight. I finally found her sleeping up in the fort in the boys' room. The only time I think the house its too big is when I'm cleaning it or trying to figure out where Selah is sleeping.

Noah's Lego house
Thus was Noah's main gift this year. 1490 pieces. It took him and Bryan (mostly Bryan) ALL day yesterday to build it. It is quite awesome though. A light up fireplace, drawers that pull out, and tons off little details like frying pans, a newspaper, and Christmas lights!

Merry Christmas!
What's better than presents all ready to go before 9pm and a white Christmas? Celebrating the birth of our Savior. Merry Christmas!!

Baby Elijah
I don't know if this ever posted. But even if it did, who doesn't like new baby pictures? Boy do I miss that little baby already! He'll be 4 months old on Saturday!
Micah was vacuuming...
Himself apparently. (taken in August. They high was 33 with an awful wind today. No tshirts or bare feet today!)
Donuts!
It's a rare treat for our kids to have donuts, since finding ones that are gluten & dairy free has proved impossible. But the homemade ones taste better anyway, even gluten and dairy free! And if you add in some homemade treated marshmallow coconut ice cream...yum!
Old picture
Not sure if I ever posted this, it was from September. But i was just laughing to myself at poor Micah. I mean, the backwards pants is bad enough. But then add in the bloody toe, nose, cheek, and forehead...
A string!!
The kids were teasing Elijah with a balloon and you can imagine their surprise when he grabbed the string! Of course, he promptly put it in his mouth. It's kind of sad he's not just a blob anymore!
Sleepy Noah
Noah was the first one up yesterday. That may be the first time, ever. He was up at 6 on a Sunday morning. And then laid back down in our bed. I'm not sure if he actually feel asleep or not, but he stayed in there until I made him get up and dressed for Mass!

After a lot of late nights last week...
Someone finally feel asleep on the floor yesterday, watching how mayonnaise is made.
Which means she wasn't all that tired at bedtime.
So, I found this slithering blanket sneaking through the kitchen "trying to get something!" That was the second time I caught her out of bed. It cracks me up every time I see her try that.
And, Mr Micah was not happy that Jonah wasn't home when he was going to bed last night. Perhaps that is why the gun?

Bath time!
Somebody absolutely loved bath time today! So much so that I not only needed a towel for the floor, but also for me!

To wake the sleeping baby...
Or not to wake the sleeping baby.
In the end, my desire for a peaceful day won out and I woke the sleeping baby so I could get the day moving. Sure would be nice if he would sleep somewhere other than on me. Luckily, he didn't mind being woken up, and will likely nap in his swing very shortly.

Party!
There's nothing like a 5am party in Mommy's bathroom!
You'll notice Selah has this thing for wearing Micah's pjs. Sometimes he doesn't mind...other times, watch out! He can get pretty mad about it!
Buddies
Went to check on the kids last night before I went to bed...and spent a good two minutes trying to find Micah. Dug through all the blankets and pillows on his bed, and the ones on Jonah's bed before finally finding him up in the top of the castle next to Noah. It's usually Selah I have to search for, so I did start to panic a bit! As you can see, he was sleeping peacefully all the while.
And Selah was snuggled up in her bed with her doll...until about 4am when she decided the floor in our room would be more comfy. Of course she knows she isn't supposed to be in our room so she hides...she's the lump under the blanket.

Sleepy Elijah
It's not such a big deal to start your day at 0430 of you can just nap when you feel like it! At least Mommy got a shower out if the deal!

The Wilhelms
We attract quite a bit of attention when we go pretty much anywhere. We often look like a family of ducks. A never ending one! It only makes matters worse that our kids feel it is necessary to have a cart, basket, or some other item that enable them to further get in the way. Jonah ran away from the picture, but he had a distance wheel, too.
3 months!!
Mr Elijah turned 3 months yesterday. Cannot believe it has been so long. Or so short. We are so blessed to have him! He coos, giggles, and smiles on demand. Kicks his little baby feet, and loves to pull Mommy's hair. He's a tiny one, only 14 pounds, but so incredibly cute. It won't be long and he will be sitting up! He is just such an incredible little ball of joy for us. It's so amazing to watch him grow and learn!
Thanks be to God!
Elijah's first ever nap in his bed!! It only took 3 months and a day. Praying we are turning a corner with this sweety little baby. And maybe I'll be able to eat something new soon. I'm still only eating quinoa, carrots, butternut squash, pear, and have just recently been able to add sweet potato. He reacted to the onion and the coconut and it has taken a full two weeks to get rid of the symptoms each time. And it seems he's reacting to something now, presumably cross contamination from our trip. Very frustrating, I'd really love something new. But having a peaceful baby is oh so nice!
No grits?
Micah's first bowl of grits dumped when Micah fell off his chair while saying blessing this morning. His second bowl just broke as I stirred milk into it. I was reluctant to give him a third bowl, but that one made it into his tummy.

Poor Elijah
Selah is giving Elijah a crash course in what to ask for as Christmas presents. Strangely, she seems to think he wants dolls and hair accessories...
Beautiful
Selah: Mommy, do you think I'm pretty?
Me: I think you're beautiful, Selah.
Your outfit on the other hand...
And Micah says"take a picture of me, Mom! With my leg up like Selah!"

Father-son bonding
All you need is the father and the son. The bonding can take place any time or place. Even at rest areas.
